Meet The Team.

Joanne

Joe is our Owner.  She started this business from her dining room table as a lifestyle business in 2012 working around 2 small children (3 if you count her husband). Fast forward to 2017 and she took it to the next level securing offices and we are now a team of four looking to expand.

She started working in recruitment in 1997 (very young) and managed teams in some of the biggest companies in the industry. She now works with candidates on both a temporary and permanent basis within all aspects of commercial work including office, accountancy, sales and customer service to name a few.

She is partial to the odd bottle of fizz and enjoys travel with both family and “the girls”.

Kate

Kate is our Associate Director.  She joined JOB Consultancy in 2013.  She had worked with Joe previously and was the obvious choice to join the team as it expanded.

She worked within commercial and call centre work initially but has since successfully grown her desk by developing work within the legal market.

She has had success across all areas placing candidates with businesses all over the North West.

She loves red wine and enjoys cooking.  She is a mum of 2 young children hence the love of red wine.

Hayley

Hayley is our senior administrator she joined us nearly four years ago on an apprenticeship scheme and has gone from strength to strength, she has quickly progressed to become the back bone of JOB Consultancy.

She sources candidates, posts jobs, attracts candidates and is in charge of all of our social media. She is the “go to” person in our office.  Things are only broken if Hayley can’t fix them.

She keeps us all on the straight and narrow!

She has two dogs called Zak and Lyla that she walks for miles.  She recently bought her first house and enjoys a Spiced Rum or Disarrono on a Saturday night.

Alison

Alison joined the Healthcare team over 2 years ago now and has developed an excellent reputation with both clients and our candidates alike.   She has worked like crazy to ensure that JOB Healthcare is the go to agency for both Nurses and HCA staff members at all levels.  Her background was always within customer facing roles but she took the leap into recruitment and hasn’t looked back.

She has come a “long way” to join us from her hometown of Cahir in Tipperary and lives locally with her husband and dog Zeus.

Unsurprisingly she loves a drink and has quickly developed a love of Asti to commiserate/celebrate any day in the office!

Wendy

Wendy is our Healthcare Manager.  She has joined us with a wealth of experience within the Healthcare and Nursing Market.  She has joined us to take our Healthcare team to the next level.  She has 2 dogs – Penny, 3, a Cavapoo and Riley, 8 months, a Goldendoodle. She also has 2 (elderly) guinea pigs called Millie and Teddy who they adopted when in Southampton 5 years ago and are still going strong. 

Wendy enjoys going camping (more like glamping) when weather permits with the doggos in tow but only to sites with a nearby pub!!

She loves music, pretty much of all kinds, but hates that she can’t play any instruments (despite a failed attempt at guitar lessons) and by her own admission completely tone deaf! 

Wendy loved (pre-Covid) going looking for records in charity shops, she hasn’t yet managed to find some valuable rare find yet, but you never know!
